Win condition: Complete a hand consisting of most or all of the cards matched into sets and/or sequences in order to have less Deadwood than your opponent.
- Deadwood: All un-matched cards
- Set: 3 or 4 cards that are identical rank and of different suits (3-of-a-kind or 4-of-a-kind)
- Sequence: 3 or more cards of the same suit and in consecutive order (10-J-Q-K)
- Meld: 3 or more cards in a set or sequence
Cards can belong to only one meld at a time.
