If you’re unable to connect to our games or features, this may be due to the following reasons.
Please check these steps:
Check your browser
Make sure you are using an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Opera).
Outdated versions or "restricted browsers" (e.g. in corporate environments) can block WebSockets.
Reload page
Press
Ctrl + F5(Windows) orCmd + Shift + R(Mac) to clear the cache and completely reload the page.
Firewall / Proxy
Some corporate firewalls or proxies block WebSockets.
If you're using corporate networking, ask IT to enable the following ports:
443 (HTTPS) – WebSockets usually run encrypted over this standard port.
Also check if a "transparent proxy" or VPN is interfering with the connection.
Browser-Plugins / Add-ons
Ad blockers, script blockers, or security add-ons can interfere with WebSockets.
As a test, you can start the browser in "private/incognito mode" or deactivate any extensions.
Try a different network
Test the site over a different Wi-Fi network or using mobile data.
If everything works there, it is most likely due to the firewall or the network settings of your usual network.
VPN / Security Software
Some VPN clients or antivirus programs block WebSocket connections.
As a test, disable them or add an exception.
